Restaurant Managers must work with people, including grumpy customers and disgruntled employees. Yet you also must be able to order supplies and keep track of inventory.
Restaurant Managers do not require a bachelor’s degree, though you do need a GED and a few years of experience as a waiter, dishwasher, or cook in order to qualify. Some higher end restaurants may require their managers to have degrees in business, though this is unlikely, given that experience is the most important factor.
