Physician Assistants need to be able to communicate effectively with patients, but you also need to be able to handle their medical needs quickly, independently, and with competency.
Physician Assistants require a bachelor’s degree and a few years of experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), paramedic, or EMT. This will strengthen your application to postgraduate school. Physician Assistant educational programs take about two years.
